Articles on leadership, ministry, and other topics

Influence Magazine on July 25, 2022

The summer 2022 issue of Influence magazine is now available online.

“Preaching to a Divided Congregation” is the theme of the cover story by Matthew D. Kim and Paul A. Hoffman. It outlines seven questions preachers should ask during sermon preparation.

Assemblies of God General Superintendent shows how pro-life Christians can make abortion unthinkable in “After Roe, What?”

The theme section addresses the topic of “Disability and Pentecostal Ministry.” Its five authors — Marvin J. Miller, Gary Hoyt, Joanna French, Nilda Rivera, and Joe Butler — address the challenges and opportunities of disability ministry from a personal and pastoral perspective.

The latest installment of Make It Count by Stephen Blandino draws on Galatians 5 for insight into “Leading with the Fruit of the Spirit.” A 10-week, downloadable leadership development curriculum is available for free in both English and Spanish.

These articles—and many more on the topics of leadership and ministry—are all in the summer 2022 issue of Influence. May they inspire, strengthen, and equip you in your ministry!
