In this second installment, Assemblies of God legal counsel Richard Hammar discusses the legal ramifications of gun violence on a church campus and specific proactive steps church leaders can take.

While no church can eliminate the threat of an armed intruder, these measures may decrease the risk of such an event and possibly even save lives.

“All people are made in the image of God and deserving of our highest investment to protect their lives and safety,” Hammar says.
