Americans are attending church less these days, but the trend is more prevalent in some parts of the country than others, a recent report from Barna Group reveals.

Just under 1 in 4 U.S. adults regularly attend services. The rest are either unchurched (those who haven’t attended in the past six months) or dechurched (those who were previously active in church but haven’t attended in the past six months).

However, nearly 6 in 10 adults in Chattanooga, Tennessee, attend services — making it the most churched city in the nation. Below are Barna’s rankings for the most churched, most unchurched, and most dechurched cities in America.
