The amount of displaced people in the world is growing, up to more than 60 million last year, as reported by Pew. The research organization highlights 10 key facts about this population. Here are a few of their findings:

• Nearly 1 in 100 people worldwide are now displaced from their homes
• About 6 in 10 Syrians are currently displaced from their homes
• Countries in the European Union, Norway and Switzerland received 1.3 million refugees last year — a record number
• Nearly half of refugees entering the U.S. this year are Muslim.
